Thanksgiving Pie Box - 2014 Thanksgiving Series.

I love cooking, and I think there´s nothing better than pie, and vanilla ice cream, and pumpkin cupcakes, and chocolate, and lychee sorbet, and matcha soy latte, etc, etc.

Anyways, reviewing the Thanksgiving series I felt like it needed one more piece , so here it is, a Pie Box!

By the way, I'm loving my Light Portable Studio, right exposure, right colors, nice shadows every time.

Go to amazon and get it
For this box I designed a fancy, elegant, flourished turkey cutout. and lined the lid with red cardstock to make it sturdier and hold the design in place.

I attached the lining with Aleene's Tacky Glue Pen, that also helps hardens the cardstock.

I Stamped the borders of the box using a border from the Penny Black Embellishment Stamp Set with Memento Ink (Pistachio and Potter's Clay).

]i also stamped the inside of the lid with a sentiment from Penny Black's Dahlias Stamp Set, with Tuxedo Black and White Cloud Memento Ink)

I also lined the bottom of the box to give it a little more support.

Instructions:
  1. Import in DS
  2. Resize to 7.3 inches wide (for a 6 inch diameter pie) this will cut fine on a 8.5 x 11 in. cardstock. For bigger sizes you will need bigger paper and a 12 x 24 mat.
  3. Cut
  4. Enjoy!
